Holly Willoughby looked gorgeous hosting This Morning in a 1940's inspired Ghost dress on Thursday (24 September).

The TV star posted a snap to Instagram showing off the timeless floral number, telling followers: "Morning Thursday... how is it Thursday! 🤷🏼♀️"

Writing in the caption the presenter told people a little of what they could expect from the morning's show, but the comments section quickly began to fill up with messages about how great she looked. And we'd have to agree.

In a fit and flare style, the pretty floral midi-dress flatters your shape with bias cut satin. The gathered sleeves not only cover your upper arms but add style and structure and help create the appearance of a narrow waist.

But the stand out feature that really gives the lovely ditsy print dress character is the crisp white 1940's inspired collar.

While the dress is at the higher end of high-street price point, Ghost is always reliable quality and cut, and this dress can be worn again and again.

Dressed up the smart-casual frock is elegant enough for formal occasions, and yet styled with some white sneakers it would make for a fashionable take on everyday style.

And there's no need to worry about the timeless style going out of fashion, that's the beauty of vintage inspired looks.

The Ghost Essie Dress is available in sizes XS-XL.
