Hollyoaks is bringing back Kyle Pryor for real-life partner's kissing scene
Hollyoaks is bringing back former cast member Kyle Pryor for a very unexpected reason.
The actor, who played Laurie Shelby, has headed back to Chester to work as a stand-in for kissing scenes involving his real-life girlfriend Anna Passey.
Speaking on Patrick Kielty's BBC Radio 5 Live show, Kyle described his new gig as "unusual" but added it was "really nice to kind of go back in and see some of the cast and crew on set".
When Patrick asked what Kyle's going rate as a body double was, he replied: "To be honest, any amount of money to go in and kiss my partner is fine by me, it's an easy day's work."
Anna plays Sienna Blake on the soap, who was once part of a sexual harassment storyline with Kyle's character Laurie.
Anna and Kyle confirmed their relationship a year ago, with Anna posting a sweet snap of them kissing in a cave by the ocean.
In August, Anna revealed that she had taken up surfing thanks to Kyle's influence. "Kyle's favourite thing to do is to surf!" she told Inside Soap.

"One day, the doorbell rang and there was a surfboard waiting for me, so I realised I had to properly learn how to do it!
"It's quite a commitment – however, it's really addictive. It's taken me a while, but I'm finally at a point where I'm competent and know what I'm doing. It's a lot of fun!"
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
