Hollyoaks' John Paul prepares to meet the McQueen blackmailer

Hollyoaks' Theresa McQueen will reveal a big secret as John Paul prepares to come face to face with the family's blackmailer.
A mystery culprit has been targeting the McQueen clan over the last few weeks, with serial killer Silas Blissett's involvement unmasked in the show's 25th anniversary episode.
Despite this, there have been some strong hints that the story has yet to be fully resolved as Silas has been seen exchanging texts and phone calls with another mystery person – who is clearly his accomplice.
Next week's scenes will see the McQueen family continued to be blackmailed – this time with the sin of greed.
Prior to this, the clan were blackmailed with the sin of wrath, with Sylver being first to pay the price when he nearly got sent down for murder.
With Mercedes struggling on the anniversary of losing baby Gabriel, Theresa promises to step up and sort out the blackmailer herself – fearing that the latest sin could be about her anyway.
Panic-stricken, Theresa turns to John Paul for the money and reveals that she got involved in some criminal activity when she was away.
At the end of her tether, Theresa physically tries to destroy the doll but John Paul decides to swallow his pride and ask James for financial help instead.
James agrees and he and John Paul leave a bag at The Folly for the blackmailer to collect, but are left shocked by who turns up. Who is it? And has the mystery finally been solved?
Hollyoaks airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
