Hollyoaks to solve mystery of McQueen family blackmailer in 25th anniversary episode

Hollyoaks will reveal the identity of the McQueen family's blackmailer tonight (October 21), Digital Spy can confirm.
The mystery culprit who has been targeting the clan will be unmasked in the show's 25th anniversary episode.
In recent days, viewers have seen the McQueens receive a package containing a creepy doll, who has been threatening to expose their darkest secrets.
As Mercedes and co haven't been fully complying with the doll's demands for cash, they have been forced to face the wrath of their mystery enemy – with Sylver being first to pay the price when he nearly got sent down for murder.

In Wednesday's E4 first look episode, the doll continues to demand that the McQueens figure out the identity of the blackmailer – or else.
The family have until noon to solve the mystery, but Mercedes has had enough of the threats and is ready to change the game.
Mercedes puts on her signature red dress and encourages her family to party their worries away at The Dog – but someone is watching.
Viewers will discover who has been tormenting the McQueens, but are they any closer to figuring it out?

Jorgie Porter, who plays Theresa McQueen, recently teased the big reveal by telling Digital Spy: "I think you'll all be very excited. It's the 25th birthday, which is a big deal for Hollyoaks, and you just don't know who's going to pop up…"
Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes, also told Inside Soap: "I'm excited to see the reaction – I know who it is and I couldn't believe it! I hope viewers are as shocked as I was."
Hollyoaks airs the revelation tonight (October 21) at 7pm on E4 and tomorrow (October 22) at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
