Hollyoaks star Billy Price is exclusively opening up to Digital Spy about new trouble for his character Sid Sumner.

Sid is already in over his head transporting drugs for his cousin Jordan, but the heat will be turned up when Ripper Street actor Benjamin O'Mahony soon turns up as Hollyoaks drug kingpin Victor.

In our video chat with Price above, he confirmed that there will be "a lot coming up" as the County Lines drug trade begins to infiltrate the teen population.

"You wouldn't expect what they have planned to happen," he teased. "I've got to wait 'til I go back to work and sit down with all the team behind the cameras in person and talk about how lockdown has affected the journey of the storyline.

"There is a lot to come up, such as Victor is coming in, and that's a massive thing. Charlie and Ella are now starting to come under Jordan's wing, the producers and writers of Hollyoaks have now started to hit something on the head that you would never have guessed… I guess you're just going to have to wait and see."

Price went on to tease that the danger will increase "2 million percent" once Victor asserts himself as the new drug boss in Hollyoaks, adding: "There was a scene I got in a script the other day, between me and Victor, it's special."

Jordan actor Connor Calland also recently hinted to us that viewers might even see a different side to his drugs dealer character once the more sinister Victor arrives.

"A lot of people have labelled me as the bad guy, which I am. But if you think I'm bad, there's another thing coming," he warned.

"Victor brings an element of unpredictability and aggression that maybe Jordan lacks as much as him. I think Jordan brings those elements to the show, but when Victor comes in, he brings a lot more and turns it up another notch.

"The way you see Sid and Juliet with Jordan, is going to be how you'll see Jordan with Victor. It's going to be a very interesting dynamic, because where that does leave Sid and Juliet? Who knows?"

Hollyoaks airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm. Wednesdays through Fridays on E4 will feature classic episodes called Hollyoaks Favourites to compensate for the soap suspending filming.
