Hollyoaks star says Theresa McQueen probably now has "loads of men on the go"
Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter recently returned to the set to introduce Hollyoaks Favourites, so it's no surprise the actress is keen to revisit her iconic character, Theresa McQueen.
Jorgie, who along with Kieron Richardson is hosting the soap's new classic episodes feature on E4, revealed her own thoughts on Theresa's whereabouts, four years after the young McQueen left the village in the back of a taxi.
Speaking to The Sun about what Theresa might be up to now, Jorgie joked that she probably has "loads of men on the go" – but that she might well have "murdered again", too. Swings and roundabouts, we suppose.
"I imagine because she's older now with two kids, and she says she's in Spain so I think she might have an accent," Jorgie mused. "She might have murdered again and probably have loads of men on the go."
Revealing her excitement at returning to the "McQueens' set", she continued: "Theresa's brilliant, isn't she? Back being in the McQueens' set, I couldn't help but be a bit of Theresa.
"Sat in there and with the make-up and wardrobe, I could just feel her coming back. It was so weird. It's like having a split personality."
Could the McQueens soon be throwing another welcome party for Theresa? We'll have to wait and see.
Hollyoaks airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm. E4 will feature classic episodes in Hollyoaks Favourites, airing Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, to compensate for the soap suspending filming in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
