Home and Away stars have been documenting all the on-set changes going on behind the scenes following the soap's return to filming last month.

The cast and crew of the Australian soap have been back at work since the end of May as they continue to follow a number of new measures to ensure everyone's safety in response to the coronavirus pandemic, including regular temperature checks and rigorous cleaning schedules.

A Channel 7 spokeswoman also confirmed last month that "scripts will also be reworked to reduce close contact", and Irene Roberts star Lynne McGranger has now shared a sneak peek at some social distancing scenes in practice on her Instagram page.

"#socialdistancing in the Diner," she captioned a photo of herself and her co-stars Ada Nicodemou, Emily Symons and Georgie Parker in the Summer Bay Diner and all maintaining the recommended social distance.

"Great to be back working with these lovelies. And how we’ve missed you #AlStrange our resident photobombed [sic]."

Ada Nicodemou, who plays Leah Patterson, also shared a photo of her return to work this week, sharing a selfie with Sam Frost, who plays Jasmine Delaney – and who was once again keeping her distance.

"Back at work with this gorgeous girl," Ada wrote.

Meanwhile, EastEnders plans to resume filming by the end of June, while Hollyoaks cast members have also shared their hopes that they'll be back at work soon too.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).
