Huang Xiaoming, Angelababy do charity
26 Feb – While most stars spent their Lunar New Year holiday with families or on a vacation, celebrity couple Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy instead took the opportunity to help those who are in need.
As reported on Sina News, Huang, who has been appointed the ambassador of a charity organisation that support the elderly, recently visited several elders around Shandong who are alone during the holiday season.
Co-sponsored by his charity foundation "Tomorrow", the "Summer's Desire" star and girlfriend Angelababy visited and assisted 87-year-old Lu Juzhong whose daughter is currently ill, as well as 76-year-old Lu Zhifun, who turned out to be a big fan of the actor.
Shandong-born Huang, who started his philanthropic work after helping rebuild a school in Sichuan subsequent to the 2008 earthquake, expressed his determination to use his fame and fortune for more charity work.
In a previous interview, he stated, "I hope that my action will remind other celebrities and public figure that they also have a responsibility to give back to the society."
