Huang Xiaoming slams paparazzi for son's photo

19 Nov – Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming recently slammed the Hong Kong paparazzi for publishing photos of his 10-month old son without consent.

As reported on Mingpao, earlier this week, Hong Kong tabloids published a photo of Huang's wife, Angelababy and their son as they appeared at the airport, and reported that it was the first time the baby, nicknamed Little Sponge was seen in public.

On 15 November, Huang took to Weibo and angrily wrote, "I did not expect that the media can be so unprincipled and show such disregard to the law."

"People say that I have a good temper. You can hurt me, but not my family. When it comes to my child, that's the bottom line. Even the nicest people have reasons to explode!," he said.

But Huang seemed to have calmed down soon after, because he deleted the post, and wrote a different one the same day.

He posted, "I know that as a public figure, I can't force people to give me some space. But I still hope to give my child an ordinary life, and that he won't have to be too concerned about privacy."

"He is not a public figure. He is not even one year old. Maybe, in the future, he will grow up to be a public figure, but now is not the time," he added.
