Hugo Wong denies his scenes were deleted from "Justice Pao"
18 Jul – TVB actor Hugo Wong has dismissed the idea that his scenes in the new drama, "Justice Pao: The First Year", has been reduced by the company.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who was accused of impregnating his mainland fan last year, reportedly had more scenes in the drama originally, but most of them were removed by the company following the said scandal.
Asked about it, Hugo said that he doesn't think such a thing happened as he himself doesn't have that much influence on viewers as an actor.
"I am sure that even if something was deleted, it had nothing to do with me. The drama was completed a long time ago," he said.
As for playing the playboy Chen Shimei in the said drama, the actor said that he is not worried at all that it would taint his image or reminded fans of his past scandal.
"I believe that the viewers know what is real and what is not. As an actor, I have no control over it and could only give my best performance. I welcome any positive feedback," he said.
