What do we know about the Hungaroring?

  • Circuit length:  4.381km

  • First grand prix: 1986

  • Laps: 70

  • Race distance: 306.53km

  • Race lap record: 1:17.103 (Max Verstappen, 2019)

  • 2018 winner:  Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes

  • Number of corners: 14

  • Overtaking chances:  Pretty slim, to be honest. It's (perhaps unfairly) known as Monaco without the walls. Still, going into turn one with the aid of DRS is the best place.

What are the odds (top six)?

  • Lewis Hamilton 4/6

  • Valtteri Bottas 3/1

  • Max Verstappen 4/1

  • Alexander Albon 33/1

  • Sergio Perez 33/1

  • Carlos Sainz 40/1

What is our prediction?

It's a strong track for Hamilton, who has won there so many times I have lost count. Bottas's best finishing position is third, once. Mercedes are clear leaders at the moment, but the Hungaroring is a track where the driver can make more of a different, so we may see Mx V

Podium prediction: 1st Hamilton 2nd Verstappen 3rd Bottas
