Hungarian villager gives swallows a haven in tough times
This Hungarian man has built 400 nests for swallows
under the eaves of his own house
They're built to attract the migrating birds, whose numbers are dwindling
Location: Tamasi, Hungary
BIRD LOVER, FERENC MATICS, SAYING:"I have also made these nests for others. I encourage everyone to make some, it doesn't cost much, it's worth a try so that we have more and more swallows."
Ferenc Matics started making nests 12 years ago
out of sawdust, plaster and water
