Hungary's biggest football club Ferencvaros have sacked their Dutch coach Ricardo Moniz after a run of poor results saw the team slide from second to seventh in the league table. "The team picked up just six points from 24 during the last eight games, change is needed," a statement on the club's website said on Sunday. Moniz, 49, joined the Budapest club in August 2012 after a successful stint at Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, and won the Hungarian League Cup in his first season. Ferencvaros have 24 points from 16 games, 12 points behind league leaders Debreceni VSC at the halfway stage of the season.
