Hurricane Zeta Lashes Central Alabama

Widespread damage was reported across central Alabama after Hurricane Zeta blew through early Thursday morning, October 29.

The hurricane had made landfall in Louisiana as a Category 2 storm packing 110 mph winds.

This footage shows Zeta’s strong winds and heavy rain affecting Clanton, Alabama.

Officials in Jefferson County, in north-central Alabama, advised residents to stay indoors until crews had cleared fallen trees and power lines.
