17 Oct – After much speculations, it was reported that Cube Entertainment has recently dropped one of its biggest stars, HyunA.
As reported on Yonhap, in a statement released on 15 October, the company shared that the two parties have reached an agreement to terminate HyunA's contract, and thanked the singer for her contribution to the company.
HyunA had been a part of Cube Entertainment since 2008 - being one of the member of the now-disbanded quartet 4Minute, the duo Troublemaker, and the trio Triple H. She also released several solo albums with the company and has been known as one of Cube's biggest stars.
The conflict between the two parties sparked in August, after the singer confirmed rumours that she was in a relationship with Pentagon member and one third of Triple H, E'Dawn despite Cube's previous denial.
The company previously announced in September that it had expelled both HyunA and E'Dawn from the company over breach of trust, but retracted the statement the same day.
On the other hand, Cube gave no details as to what will happen to E'Dawn.
