Another fake Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website has been detected, said the authority in a news release on Thursday (5 October).

ICA cautioned members of the public that the fake site is phishing for “visitors’ visa reference numbers and passport numbers”.

The website – www. singaporeonline-epass.com – appears nearly identical to ICA’s official website except for text in the top right-hand corner that states “Singapore Ministry” instead of “Singapore Government”, which appears on all government websites.

ICA said it has made a police report about the fake website, adding that its official site – www.ica.gov.sg – has not been affected and that no data has been compromised.

This is the second time this year that a fake ICA website has emerged. Members of the public are advised to use only the official ICA website for all informational and transactional needs concerning ICA matters.
