IDOOH and Voyager Philippines will engage ridesharing passengers with freenet-supported digital content

IDOOH, a company providing a platform for Out-of-Home (OOH) media environment on vehicles in Philippines partners with Voyager Philippines for in-vehicle interactive content

Voyager Innovations, Inc. and IDOOH is set to launch screens in 100 cars, with the objective to improve ride experience. The strategic partnership will officially start from October 1, 2018, and will be using IDOOH’s Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) partners.

With this test project, both companies seek to provide passengers with access to in-vehicle and interactive shopping, entertainment, news, games, sports, and lifestyle content.

“We are excited to bring e-commerce and digital content to cars and improve the in-ride experience. We hope to scale this programme nationwide and grow our network as the Philippine’s largest in-ride digital media platform,” said Jules Salonga, Managing Director for IDOOH Philippines and Indonesia.

Voyager Innovations, Inc. will be in charge of providing connectivity via freenet to enable IDOOH screens inside the vehicles. Passengers then will be able to interact in real-time with the screen by scanning QR codes and logging in using their social media profiles to participate in promotions and reward campaigns.

So far, IDOOH is the largest network of in-vehicle digital out-of-home (OOH), screens with an inventory of more than 14,000 screens in taxis and ride-sharing cars, not only in the Philippines, but also across Asia Pacific. IDOOH uses big data analytics to enable brands to make content targeted, engaging, and timely through interactive and trackable campaigns.
