SINGAPORE — Owners of leisure craft sailing in and out of Singapore now have another option for immigration clearance with the opening of a new Customs, Immigration, Quarantine (CIQ) facility at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore.

Sentosa Cove is now the only private marina in the Republic to operate a CIQ facility, according to a media statement on Friday (2 August).

The new facility, which commenced operations on 15 June, was launched by Senior Parliamentary Secretary Sun Xue Ling on Friday.

Previously, leisure craft that entered or departed from Singapore waters had to pass through a CIQ facility at Sisters’ Island.

A Sentosa Cove spokesperson added that the facility is expected to facilitate boater movements between Sentosa Cove and the other upcoming yachting playgrounds in the region, such as the ONE°15 Marinas currently under construction at Puteri Harbour and Nirup Island.
