India exempts wholesalers and big retailers from stockholding limits on edible oils and oilseeds

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - The Indian government said on Tuesday that it would exempt wholesalers and big chain retailers of oilseeds and edible oils from the current stock limit order, according to a statement.

India is the world's biggest importer of edible oils such as palm oil, soyoil and sunflower oil.
