New Delhi, Aug 17 (ANI): Following the fall of Kabul into the hands of the Taliban, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on August 17 stated that India has to watch the Afghanistan situation incredibly carefully. “There's going to be a base (in Afghanistan) for very hostile Pak-backed terrorist elements targeting us and potentially a larger recruitment base - a source of fighters who could come and attack us. So we'll have to watch the situation incredibly carefully,” Tharoor told ANI. “I'm not sure if Pakistan should be 100% happy that these guys (Taliban) have come to power because not everyone who has come to power is necessarily going to be pro-Pak. Yes, many are... The situation is incredibly dangerous, certainly for us,” he added. Afghanistan government collapsed on August 15 with President Ashraf Ghani leaving the country and the Taliban's entry into the capital.
