Indian Army seizes 25-30 kg drugs in Uri

Uri (Jammu and Kashmir), Oct 03 (ANI): Indian Army troops recovered two bags containing 25-30 kg heroin-like substance on October 02. Pakistani marking was present on the bags; the estimated value of the suspected contraband is around Rs 20-25 crores. “Indian troops deployed along LOC in Uri Sector observed some suspicious movement. Upon search of the area, two bags were recovered. The bags contained a large amount of contraband-like material. The legal proceedings have been initiated after the suspected recovered contraband was handed over to the concerned police,” Rayees Bhat, SSP Baramulla.
