ForeverShop will also use part of the funding to build more business relationships with logistics and payment gateway partners

Bangalore-based C2C e-commerce enabler ForeverShop, developed by Teamleaf Software, has raised INR 2 crore (US$300,000) in seed funding from several undisclosed investors.

The startup will use the newly-raised funding to upgrade the product, expand seller base in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and build partnerships with logistics and payment gateway companies.

Launched in beta form early this year, the free ForeverShop app enables individual sellers or SMEs build their own online shops via its platform.

Users can develop and integrate features such as websites, products listings, categories, payments, order and customer management tools, and marketing tools.

To date, ForeverShop has accumulated over 1,000 users.

“60 per cent of the Indian economy are contributed by SMEs and around 2 million SMEs are looking to start their own online shops,” Shathyan Raja, the president of ForeverShop, in an official press statement.

“Many sellers are not familiar with smartphone usage and running own online shop, so we help them to own a shop and use it easily with ForeverShop with excellent user interface and user experience,” he said.

ForeverShop was founded in 2016. It has offices in India and China. The Indian team focuses on marketing, operation and customer service; the team in Beijing focuses on product development
