Infographic: Staying indoors may not keep you safe from haze

We’re often more concerned about outdoor pollution affecting our health. This infographic created by IoT startup uHoo tells us why we should be concerned about the indoors

For the past month, Singapore and Malaysia has been blanketed by haze due to Indonesian forest fires. While most of us believe staying inside is the solution to dodging the pollutants, exactly how safe is our respiratory health in the great indoors?

Hong Kong startup uHoo, which makes indoor air quality monitors, conducted an experiment at Suntec City on September 22 – 23 during the IoT conference and discovered that the entire venue had unhealthy levels of PM2.5 inside the venue.

In response, the startup created this infographic to educate those poor souls affected by the haze (us included).
