Inspector, Corporal, remanded over Penang bribe-taking case

GEORGE TOWN: The magistrate's court here today granted a week-long remand order against two policemen, including an Inspector, as part of a probe into an alleged graft case.

The remand order against the duo, aged 32 and 33, was granted by deputy registrar Ahmad Tajudin Zain.

The two were remanded to assist investigations under Section 17 (a) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009.
