In Iraq, temperatures soar over 50 degrees with no electricity to cool down

In Iraq, summer is always hot, but this year with 52 degrees in the shade, the country is also plunged into darkness with country wide electricity cuts. Due to the power outages not a single watt of energy is being delivered to houses where refrigerators, air conditioners and other fans sit out of service.
