JEMPOL: Former Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) chairman, Tan Sri Isa Samad said he will be holding a press conference soon to clear the air on matters surrounding his resignation from FGV.
"It's too early to issue statements on the matter. I will hold a press conference soon so that all members of the media will get equal access to my side of story," he said.
Isa too refused to comment further on his new appointment as the acting chairman of the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) today.
"Give me some time. Let me start work first before I issue any statements," he said at a breaking of fast event at the Jempol police headquarters here today.
Also present was Jempol district police chief Superintendent Noorzainy Mohd Noor.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today announced Isa had willingly relinquished his position as FGV's chairman, before announcing the latter's new appointment as SPAD acting chairman, with immediate effect.
