ITV has confirmed when The Voice UK will resume its 2020 competition – and you haven't got long to wait.

The popular reality show was forced to halt production earlier this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Now, producers have revealed that the show is returning to screens later this month.

The eagerly-awaited semi-final and final will be pre-recorded with virtual audiences ahead of their airing.

Before then, a special catch-up show will air, too, reminding viewers at home of each contestant's journey so far. As of today (October 3), all previous episodes from this year's series will be available to stream on ITV Hub, so you can catch up if you need a refresher.

Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs and will.i.am will be coaching their acts from the studio, while LA-based Meghan Trainor will video in.

She said: "I'm so sorry that I can't travel and be there in person for the end. I'm excited that the show is finally back and I will be there virtually to support my incredible team!"
