Jack Monroe and Saturday Kitchen's Matt Tebbutt team up for BBC's new daily cooking show
Lockdown life and stockpiling have presented the general public with a bit of a challenge when it comes to cooking in recent weeks.
So fans of Jack Monroe will be delighted to hear that the author of Tin Can Cook and Cooking On A Bootstrap is fronting a new daily cooking show on the BBC, alongside Saturday Kitchen's Matt Tebbutt.
Daily Kitchen Live will air each weekday on BBC One this month for two weeks. Matt will entertain and inform audiences from the familiar surroundings of the Saturday Kitchen Live set, while Jack will be providing inspiration for people struggling at home with limited food resources.

The news comes hot on the heels of Channel 4's Keep Cooking and Carry On with Jamie Oliver, which has been airing on weekdays to offer audiences lockdown cooking inspiration.
Fans of Jack will no doubt be excited to see what creative recipes the cook will showcase on the programme, with show bosses promising viewers "healthy, wholesome and accessible meals in each episode".
According to the BBC, Daily Kitchen Live will be live each weekday morning and will be responding to lockdown challenges facing viewers such as cooking on a budget and providing insights into how to make a little go a long way.
They have also said that producers will be keeping on top of what is available in the shops, and creating recipes and tips based on that – and strict social distancing rules will be in place both on and off-screen to keep everyone safe.

Viewers will be able to pose questions and also offer up their own advice. There will also be an opportunity to challenge Matt and Jack to come up with ideas using what they have lurking in their cupboards, and show their own efforts.
Jack, who "can't wait to get started" on the new show, said: "The way some of us cook has changed dramatically over the last few weeks, and rustling up nutritious, no-nonsense dinners in the current climate can be a challenge – but it's incredibly important!
"I'll be giving simple ingredient swaps, conjuring up recipes from whatever you may have in your cupboard and taking questions from viewers."
Matt added: "It's going to be a great way to share some fun each morning with the viewers, while also sharing our ideas for quick and simple recipes that will get the whole family cooking."
Daily Kitchen Live will air each weekday at 10am on BBC One for two weeks from Monday, April 13.
