Jackie Chan nominated for two Huading awards
26 Mar – It was reported that Jackie Chan has been named one of the nominees for the 9th Huading Awards.
Groove Asia website reported that the multi-talented star has received both Best Director and Best Actor nominations for his work in his final blockbuster action movie, "CZ12".
Jackie will be competing with Tony Leung (Chiu Wai) who is nominated for "The Silent War", Nicholas Tse ("The Bullet Vanishes"), Mark Chao ("Caught in the Web"), and Huang Xiaoming ("The Last Tycoon") for Best Actor category.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong actress Miriam Yeung will be competing for the Best Actress category through the movie, "Love in the Buff" against Fan Bing Bing ("Double XPosure"), Li Bingbing ("I Do"), Tang Wei ("Late Autumn"), and Gao Yuanyuan ("Caught in the Wind").
Last year, Jackie was awarded "Most Outstanding Achievement in Asia" through a public voting system that was held by the event organiser.
