Jacqueline Law's ashes to be a diamond?
7 July – According to Hong Kong media, Jacqueline Law's husband, Liu Chee Ming, is considering turning his late wife's ashes into diamond pendant or ring.
The former TVB actress, who passed away at the end of June at her home in Singapore due to pancreatic cancer, has just had her funeral service held at Mount Vernon Sanctuary, in the Grace Service Hall according to Christian tradition.
Many of Jacqueline's friends including Kitty Lai, Monica Chan, Dicky Cheung, Eugena Lau and Mediacorp artiste Aileen Tan were seen there mourning Jacqueline's death.
Algordanza Singapore, the only company that provides the service, refused to reveal if they have been requested to create a diamond pendant or ring using Jacqueline's ashes as their clients' information is confidential.
However, he told the reporter that at least 500 grams of ashes is needed to produce a diamond, and that the process takes two to six months. He added that the prices ranged from SGD 6399 to SGD 33999.
