Jadon Sancho to Chelsea transfer latest: What we know so far about battle to sign Borussia Dortmund star
The future of Jadon Sancho is already shaping up to be the big transfer saga to dominant the next window.
The 20-year-old looks destined to return to England after leaving Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
Manchester United tried and failed last summer as Dortmund refused to do business, but their stance is understood to have changed 12 months on.
So what will happen this summer?

Is the deal close?
No, and even less so for Chelsea.
Manchester United are understood to leading the race for Sancho's signature, both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward's priority attacking target this summer.
However, Chelsea have money to spend after two barren windows and the £130m deal which sent Eden Hazard to Real Madrid sitting in the bank.
Frank Lampard is understood to be a big fan and is in need of fresh faces on the wing with both Willian and Pedro expected to leave at the end of the season.
Chelsea moved quickly to agree a deal to sign Hakim Ziyech from Ajax for £37.8m, but remain ready to smash their transfer record on Sancho.
How much will he cost?
A lot. A whole lot.
As mentioned above, Sancho will force clubs to break their transfer records to sign him - especially key suitors Chelsea and United.
Standard Sport understands Dortmund will only consider offers north of £100million, and likely closer to £120m.
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Bild recently: "Even before the coronavirus outbreak, we said that we prefer that Jadon stays with us. At the end of the day, however, you always have to respect what the player wants.
"I'll say clearly that even the very rich clubs shouldn't believe that they can come here to snap up bargains. We don't have to sell anyone for less than they're worth."
Other targets
Talking of wingers, Standard Sport understands that interest in Wilfried Zaha remains at Stamford Bridge, though the club will not go near Crystal Palace's £80m asking price.
Frank Lampard is expecting to continue the search for a new striker, with Olivier Giroud set to leave and Michy Batshuayi unable to sufficiently impress the boss.
Lyon's Moussa Dembele is Chelsea's preferred target, with Red Bull Leipzig's Timo Werner also of interest.
The club are also keen on signing a left-back, with uncertainty over the futures of both Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmeri, with Leicester City's Ben Chilwell heading that particular list.
