James Corden admits he 'behaved like a brat' when he first became famous
James Corden has admitted to behaving "like a brat" upon his first taste of fame.
It comes as Corden, who became host of The Late Late Show in the US in 2015, has reflected on his past behaviour and attitudes when his star was on the rise.
He shared with the New Yorker: “I started to behave like a brat that I just don’t think I am. It’s so intoxicating, that first flush of fame. And I think it’s even more intoxicating if you’re not bred for it.”

The 41-year-old grew up in Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire as the son of Malcolm, a musician in the Royal Air Force band and later Christian book salesman and Margaret, a social worker.
His mother Margaret also added in the interview: "You can try and say, ‘Look, James, you’re making a prat of yourself,’ but you can only do so much.”
Corden's Gavin and Stacey co-star Rob Brydon said back in December that the host had "lost his way for a bit" when fame hit following the success of the sitcom, leading the Welsh actor to giving him a talking-to over lunch.
Brydon told The Independent: "You would hear people saying, ‘He’s this, he’s that,’” he says with a sigh. “So I took him out for lunch, and I was sitting there thinking, ‘When am I going to bring this up?’ And I just said, ‘I don’t like hearing people saying this, because that’s not the person I know.
"So you need to be careful.’ And he took it in the spirit that it was intended."
Corden had previously credited Brydon with helping him out during an appearance on Desert Island Discs in 2012, where he described how he had become "spoilt" after his 2008 Bafta win for Gavin and Stacey.
The actor’s career has gone from strength to strength in recent years with the hugely popular Carpool Karaoke as well as roles in big budget films, including the infamous Cats.
