SINGAPORE — The JEM mall at Jurong Gateway Road, Jurong West 505 Market & Food Centre, and Yuhua Market & Hawker Centre were the three new locations added to the list of public places visited by COVID-19 cases in the community recently.

The dates visited by these cases were from 11 to 19 August, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in a media release on Monday (24 August).

As a precautionary measure, persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit. They should see a doctor if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” said the MOH.

On the same day, the MOH confirmed 51 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore on Monday, taking the country’s total to 56,404.
