Jennifer Aniston has a simple three-tiered message for her fellow Americans: Vote, Vote for Joe Biden and don't vote for Kanye West.

Over the weekend, the Friends star shared a photo of herself bracing the cold, wrapped up in a scarf and posting her early vote, followed by a photo of herself with an 'I voted' sticker.

She accompanied the photo with a lengthy caption, urging her 35 million followers to vote, a rallying call that many will have heard or read by now as celebrities including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and more have all made on social media recently.

But, Aniston also included a caveat in her message when declaring who she was voting for.

The 51-year-old explained how she had cast her vote for the Democrat candidates Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris.

'I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever,' Aniston wrote before criticising the current president, Donald Trump. 'Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies. Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science... too many people have died.'

At the end of her message, Aniston added: 'PS - It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible.'

West has made his presidential ambitions clear on several occasions over the past few years and in recent months even staged a rally - where he subsequently broke down in tears discussing abortion.

Though West does not appear on the official voting ballot in the majority of states due to registering too late, the rapper has been urging fans on Twitter to fill in his name on the ballot paper where this is an option to 'write in' a candidate in some states.

Due to the close nature of this election, and the unpredictable and surprise result of the 2016 election, Aniston has echoed what many Democrats believe: That voting for Kanye could take away a much needed vote from the Biden/Harris camp. According to Reuters, due to the fact that West is only registered on some states' ballots, he has 'no mathematical chance of winning.'

The Morning Show star was praised on Instagram for her candid call to voters from famous friends including Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts, Naomi Campbell, Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Justin Theroux.
