Proving all that hard work in the gym really does pay off, Jennifer Lopez unveiled her impressive abs at a film premiere on Saturday.

The singer and actress, 52, wore a brown long-sleeved crop and matching thigh-split skirt to celebrate the release of boyfriend Ben Affleck's new movie The Last Duel, which also stars Jodie Comer and Matt Damon.

In several posts on Instagram, the mother-of-two showed off her stunning, form-fitting outfit, which was by French fashion label Herve Leger.

She finished off her look with a clutch bag from Tom Ford, and a pair of strappy heels by LA-based vegan brand Femme.

Captioning two candid pictures, that saw JLo wait patiently as her famous other half was being interviewed, she wrote: "Red carpet magic."

The mother-of-two was praised by fans for her sleek look, and social media users left hundreds of thousands of 'likes' on her pictures and videos from the glamorous event.

One person wrote "yes beauty", while another added "gorgeous" and a third – alluding to her amazingly toned stomach – commented: "Okay abs."

The beauty entrepreneur, who also opted for glowy make-up and wore her hair half-up, is well known for undertaking tough workouts.

According to Insider, Lopez stays fit with the help of two trainers, David Kirsch and Tracy Anderson, and does a mixture of strength training, HIIT (high-intensity interval training) and kickboxing.

She frequently shows off the results of her exercise routine, including in July when the swimwear-clad star confirmed on Instagram her relationship with ex Affleck, 49, while celebrating her birthday on a yacht.

The couple have appeared in public together numerous times over the summer, and recently attended the exclusive Met Gala together.

They previously began dating in 2002, before getting engaged later that year and calling off their wedding in 2004.
