Jessica Hsuan doesn't regret being single in her 40s

25 May - Just like her career-driven character Molly Ling in "My Unfair Lady", Jessica Hsuan admitted that she loves taking control of her own life, which is why she is not too concerned about her love life.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who has been romantically linked to many men but has remained single until now, shared that she will not get married just for the sake of it.

"Marriage is a vow of a lifetime. I don't want to be with someone that long until I am absolutely sure," she said.

Jessica admitted that she has heard too many stories about failed marriages, and that she would rather not end up in such a way.

"I want to share my life with someone that I love. I don't need a tall, handsome guy. It's enough that we share the same values in life," she said.

She also revealed that a fortune teller once told her she would not have a successful marriage if she gets married before 30, during the time she was dating someone seriously.

Jessica admitted that she agreed with him, since she was not as mature when she was in her 20s as she is now in her 40s.

"I thought if I married him then, we would end up in divorce," she said, adding that she would have regretted giving her career up then.
