Jessie Reyez is encouraging her followers to embrace failure.

Over the weekend, the Canadian singer-songwriter took to Instagram to share an empowering fitness video with her 3.1 million followers.

In the clip, the "Figures" hitmaker rocked denim cutoff shorts and a black and white striped crop top. She gripped a chin up bar, gritted her teeth and pulled herself up and down four times before failing on her fifth attempt.

The words: "Yo! From never doing chin ups in my life, to doing three last week, and then boom — four today! Let’s go! I got a little cocky trying the fifth one," appeared on the screen to let followers know what was going on in the video.

In the caption, the 31-year-old Toronto-native reminded her followers that there's nothing wrong with failing.

"A little bit of progress is progress none the less. Also wanted to keep my failed attempt in here cuz that’s how I was able to find the forth one, by not being afraid to fail at it when I could only do three," she wrote. "Fail faster. It fails you forward."

In the comments, fans and fellow celebrities praised Reyez for "never giving up" — especially considering how difficult chin ups are to complete.

"Yes girl! Get it girl! You're a strong sister! These are truly so difficult and I love that you're never giving up," commented a follower.

"Progress," wrote musician C.S. Armstrong, alongside three flexing emojis.

"You are a queen! Keep getting the gains! And thanks for keeping it real with the message about failure!" said another.

"This is amazing, and motivating me to put on my running shoes and move my body even at home, because I don't have a gym available to me. Thanks for reminding me that I just need to start," shared someone else.

"Keep at it love! It’s not about the journey, but the final destination!" another fan chimed in.
