Jiro Wang admits to being a "Dragon Ball" superfan

4 Jul - Taiwanese singer-actor Jiro Wang recently attended the opening of Dragon Ball Exhibition while cosplaying as the anime hero, Son Goku, Mingpao News reported.

The actor, who attended the event complete in his Dragon Ball costume and lime green contact lenses, even entertained fans with his version of the "Turtle Devastation Wave".

"I am a "Dragon Ball" superfan," said Jiro. "I grew up collecting memorabilia of the anime."

To show his support, Jiro has also lent part of his "Dragon Ball" collection to the exhibition.

"I have more than a thousand collections. It's worth it because I am reminded of my childhood every time I look at it," he said.

When asked if he would find a girlfriend who has a similar interest in anime and cosplay, Jiro replied, "I expect my girlfriend to like animes so that we will have a common topic. But she doesn't necessary have to cosplay."

Additionally, Jiro revealed that he will begin filming a new TV drama soon.
