JKG Land Berhad Scoops Malaysia’s Best Boutique Developer Award

Winning Best Boutique Developer at the 6th annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) in April 2019, JKG Land Berhad’s ambitious vision is being realised. Its work on its latest urban green project, The ERA @ Duta North, also earned the company the Best Mid End Condo/Apartment Development (Klang Valley) award this year,” the judges said.
Established in 1986, JKG Land Berhad has long maintained a reputation for committing to the Government’s strategy of creating affordable housing for lower-income markets. Many of the company’s projects have also been aimed at supporting the country’s diverse SMEs, with the majority of projects based around Kulim in the state of Kedah.
The ERA @ Duta North, completing in June 2020, is a USD658 million development and, with an average residential unit size of 974 square feet, is a step in a new, dynamic direction. Located next to the affluent neighbourhood of Mont’ Kiara, just eight kilometres from the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the boutique development shows the company’s big ambitions. JKG Land Berhad is purposefully focusing on leadership in Malaysia’s competitive and fast-moving real-estate markets.
The impressive elements of The ERA @ Duta North include a Forest Village, with a wetlands sanctuary and leisure facilities for enjoyment from dawn through noon to the evening. The project’s Fiesta Walk is a three-storey retail space inspired by a European town, architectural design that creates an unequivocal sense of community for which JKG Land Berhad is renowned. An 800-metre boulevard links to the six residential towers, each of which features a rooftop Moon Deck, a recreational space in which residents can relax, entertain and dine.
