Dame Joan Collins and Sean Connery’s widow Micheline Roquebrune have been praised for sharing their bikini-clad bodies with the world on Instagram.
Proving age is just a number, the two women - aged 89 and 93, respectively - have been featured on the social media platform wearing two-pieces while on separate holidays with loved ones.
Dame Joan Collins shared a Reel (video) depicting herself enjoying the sunshine in the South of France.
Dancing to Blondie’s Heart of Glass in her swimming pool, the 89-year-old wore a pale blue bikini, straw hat and sunglasses.
“Yay, summer!” she exclaimed, while cooling off. Her husband Percy Gibson, 57, could be heard chuckling behind the camera.
"Nothing like having #funinthesun!" she captioned the post. "#poollife #southoffrance #poolside #hotweather #coolingoff."
Fans commented on how much they enjoyed the novelist's dance moves, with Liz Hurley's son Damian among them. “Amazing,” the 20-year-old model wrote.
Collins' confidence wearing a bikini was another talking point, with many hailing Collins an "inspiration".
One fan commenting: "I love the fact that you still wear a bikini - I'm like you, age should not define you."
"You are an inspiration to us all," another wrote.
A third labelled Collins "ageless".
Meanwhile Sir Sean Connery’s widow, Micheline Roquebrune, was pictured on a glamorous yacht alongside her socialite granddaughter Saskia Connery.
Saskia shared a rare photo of the two in the Bahamas – which Roquebrune has now called home since first moving there with her late husband in the 1990s.
Donning sunglasses, swimwear and bare feet standing in front of crystal clear turquoise water, the two shared a sweet moment together as they posed for a set of photos.
“Bahama land or no land 🧚♀️,” Connery captioned the photo.
Instagram users filled the comment section with love for the two women.
“Very cool 😎 and Go Grandmaw!” one user said.
“Beautiful girls !!” said another.
Whist another praised Roquebrune and the late Sir Connery.
“It is very nice that old people also have more courage for themselves. At any age you can and may wear bikini. But everyone, no matter how old, should first stand in front of a mirror and ask themselves whether they can expect other people to see them. I really enjoyed seeing your husband, your grandpa, no matter what role he had a television appearance in. And I think it's nice that the family has such a great cohesion.”
