15 May – Hong Kong singer Joey Yung is attempting to break her personal record by holding 18 performances at her upcoming "Pretty Crazy" concert tour.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared at the press conference announcing the 20th anniversary concert recently, said that the biggest challenge right now is to make sure that she will have equal energy for all of her shows, seeing that she only has two days off throughout the whole period.
"I have to make sure not to get too excited on my first show and use up all my energy. Otherwise, the audiences are not coming to enjoy the concert but to visit the sick. I would be sorry then," she joked.
Asked if she has plans to add two more shows to mark her 20th anniversary, she responded, "The most important thing is to give a good show. The company certainly would love that. Do I have to perform 60 shows at my 60th anniversary concert then?"
