John Hinckley, who shot Ronald Reagan in 1981, is granted full freedom

On Wednesday, a federal judge granted the man who attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan unconditional release from the remaining restrictions he faced. John Hinckley shot and wounded Reagan and three others outside the Washington Hilton Hotel in 1981.
