In 2016, Bobbi Brown stepped down as COO at her eponymous beauty brand. It wasn't until 2020 that she remerged with her latest creation, a new brand called Jones Road, focused on providing simple, smart products for all ages, skin types and skin tones.
While it began with just a handful of products, the range has since expanded to include cream, gel and powder formulas for the complexion, eyes, lips, lashes and cheeks.
As a beauty editor who is constantly putting brands under the microscope, Jones Road' fuss-free, multi-purpose products have become a staple in my beauty routine, and should be part of yours too.
It's fast become one of my favourite brands, and I can definitively say after months of use, is well worth indulging in.
From 24 October, it's now available to shop in Liberty in-store and online too, so there's no better time to try Jones Road out for yourself.
Designed to achieve the ever popular no-makeup makeup look, I love the simplicity of its products that live up to their performance claims, not to mention its incredibly chic, minimalist packaging.
If you're new to the brand and need some guidance on what's worthy of your hard-earned money, here's the 4 products that have earned a permanent spot in my make-up bag.
The Mascara | £24
This is everything you could ever want in a mascara. It adds length, volume and definition in just a couple of coat, and last all day. You won't find it smudging, smearing, crumbling or flaking either - it stays looking as fresh as first applied for well over 12 hours. It's pricey but I guarantee you won't be disappointed. The intense jet black shade makes you look more awake and the formula is rich in vitamin E so it conditions lashes while adding a false-lash effect.
The Lip Tint | £26
Jones Road' creamy lip tints provide the perfect low maintenance statement lip. Its seven shades range from berry reds and coral tones to pink and brown nudes and leaves my lips with a non-sticky, generously pigmented colour payoff. Best of all, thanks to the skin-softening ingredients of castor seed oil and fatty acids, they don't feel drying, they last well and are easy to top up on the go. My go-to shade is Ruby for a fun pop of colour.
The Face Pencil | £24
This ingenious complexion product, designed exactly like a colouring pencil, it the fastest way to look put together. Available in 25 shades, it's ideal for target spot coverage, concealing dark circles and hiding redness, without committing to a full face of foundation. Simply use your face as a canvas and draw on areas you want to conceal and blend with your finger. Within seconds you'll have an even skin tone. From my blemishes to hyperpigmentation, there's nothing this can't cover.
Lip and Cheek Stick | £34
If you've ever been intimidated by blusher, you have to try this multi-purpose cream stick. It's dual purpose, doubling up as a blusher and lipstick all in one - perfect for achieving that on-trend tonal look. The seven shades flatter all skin tones, but my favourite for my pasty Irish skin is Mauve Rose, a muted pink number. It blends in seconds with just your fingers or blush, and has a sheer coverage for adding a healthy flush of colour to cheeks.
