Jose Mourinho Stars in the Campaign for JJJJound’s Newest Adidas Samba Sneaker

JJJJound and Adidas have landed “The Special One” for their latest collaboration.

Jose Mourinho stars in the campaign of the JJJJound x Adidas “Off-Court” capsule, which includes the Samba in a new “Tobacco” colorway. The star soccer manager, who recently took the job for Rurkish side Fenerbahçe, wears the collection’s black tracksuit and shows off a co-branded soccer ball in a gallery posted to Instagram.

JJJJound’s Samba features a tonal light brown color scheme with a hairy suede forming its upper. A softer suede in a darker color is then used for the mustache and Three Stripes motif, while the sockliner is rendered in leather in an even darker hue. JJJJound’s name is also printed onto the insole, and the tongue arrives with custom debossing.

JJJJound and Adidas collaborated on a capsule of “Made in Germany” Sambas earlier this year that came with a $250 price tag for their premium construction. Their latest Samba was not made in Germany, however, and will come at a lower fee.

In addition to the sneakers, JJJJound and Adidas are releasing an all-white soccer jersey, as well as a tracksuit and nylon bag in all black. The collection is then rounded out with a traditional soccer ball with debossed logos for both parties.

Mourinho, one of the most decorated managers in the sport, is no stranger to fashion. He’s also starred in campaigns for Zegna and Hublot and maintains an active Instagram presence, both of which are uncommon among his peers.

The JJJJound x Adidas Samba “Tobacco” and the rest of the “Off-Court” collection will release June 27 through JJJJound’s website, as well as Adidas’ Confirmed app and website and select third-party retailers. Pricing for the Samba is set at $160.
