Prominent Hong Kong democracy activist Joshua Wong says he will run in the city's upcoming parliamentary elections in September. Wong won over 30,000 votes in an unofficial primary held by pro-democracy parties that has been criticised by Beijing earlier this month. The leading activist was banned last year in the district council elections for backing Hong Kong "self-determination".
