K-pop stars HyunA and E’Dawn, both of whom are currently dating, have been sacked by their management agency, Cube Entertainment.

The agency explained their decision to cut the two singers in an official statement on Thursday (13 September), writing: “When managing our artists, the company has worked with faith and trust in each other as the main priority. After much discussion, the judgment was made that it is not possible to recover the faith with the two artists HyunA and E’Dawn, so their removal has been decided. We sincerely thank the two artists and their fans who have been with us until now”

This comes after HyunA, 26, revealed her relationship with E’Dawn, 24, a member of boy band PENTAGON, on Instagram last month. Cube had previously denied any romance between the two.

HyunA, formerly a member of girl groups Wonder Girl and 4Minute, wrote in Korean that she wanted to be “honest” with her fans in her Instagram post, which was accompanied by photos of an article revealing that the two are in a relationship.

HyunA and E’Dawn have not yet addressed their removal from the agency.
