Kaneshiro and Huang joins John Woo's movie

18 Jun – Following the withdrawal of Andy Lau from the upcoming John Woo's movie, "Love And Let Love", it was revealed that the director has found his replacement in actor Takeshi Kaneshiro, reported Groove Asia.

Takeshi Kaneshiro, whose last work with John Woo was "Red Cliff 2" (2009), will be playing the role that was previously offered to the "Switch" actor.

Both actors will lead the film together with actresses Zhang Ziyi and Song Hye-kyo. Zhang Ziyi and Song Hye-kyo have worked together in Wong Kar-wai's "The Grandmaster" previously.

Meanwhile, Huang Xiaoming, who was chosen as Chang Chen's replacement when the latter had to withdraw due to conflicting schedules, said that he is not ashamed for being a second choice, and that working with the highly-respected director will enable him to widen his knowledge about acting.

"Love And Let Love" has been shelved for five years due to John Woo's illness, but will finally begin production in July.
