Kannu (Kerala), Sept 10 (ANI): Vice Chancellor of Kannur University Gopinath Ravindran dismissed the allegations of saffronisation in political science syllabus. He said, “Allegations of Kannur University saffronising political science syllabus is entirely incorrect. Makers of syllabus have included foundational text of different movements”. He added, “A large lobby of literature has been prescribed which will help the student to contextualise and understand these texts. By no stretch of imagination can anybody who is educated say this is an attempt to saffronise education”. Kannur University included books on MS Golwalkar, Veer Savarkar and Deendayal Upadhyay in political science syllabus.
