Just days after his first presidential rally in North Carolina, Kanye West has taken to Twitter for a second time to take aim at wife Kim Kardashian's mum, Kris Jenner.

ICYMI, the rapper shared a series of tweets yesterday [21 July], which appeared to be directed at his wife and mother in law. In the now deleted messages, he wrote, "Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor. If I get locked up like Mandela… Ya’ll will know why."

"Kriss [sic] don't play with me you and that calmye are not allowed around my children," he also wrote. "Ya'll tried to lock me up."

A few hours later, he said he was going to "focus on the music now" before revealing he would be releasing a new album called 'Donda', after his mum, this Friday.

Now, 43-year-old Kanye has taken to Twitter yet again, this time to call Kris out for screening his calls. The rapper shared a screenshot of his text messages to Kris, two of which seemingly hadn't been replied to. The first one read, "This Ye / You ready to talk now / Or still avoiding my calls."

The second one added, "This Ye / You wanna talk / Or go to war?"

A later tweet read, "Kriss and Kim put out a statement without my approval ... that’s not what a wife should do."

So far, the Kardashian-Jenners haven't publicly spoken out about Kanye's tweets. In an earlier emotional speech at his first presidential campaign rally in South Carolina, Kanye said he and Kim had considered having an abortion while she was pregnant with first child North.

He later said it may cause problems between him and Kim, but that he would be 'at peace' with it. "Even if my wife wants to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world even when I didn’t want to," Kanye shared.
