Kara’s Kang Ji Young to Leave Kara After Her Contract Ends

Kara’s Kang Ji Young will also be leaving the group, following Nicole.

DSP Media released an official press release on January 15, stating, “Kara’s Kang Ji Young expressed her desire to focus on her education and acting career."

The statement continued, “Kang Ji Young is under DSP contract until the end of April and while we were discussing her new contract, she expressed her wishes to go overseas for further education,” added DSP.

“Therefore, Kara will be re-organized centered on Park Gyuri, Han Seung Yeon and Goo Hara after April and the schedules will be rearranged accordingly,” concluded DSP.



It has been confirmed that Kang Ji Young will be leaving Kara after April, following Nicole, who also confirmed her exit from the group, and DSP is planning on the future activities of Kara with the possibility of recruiting new members.
